Thank you so much for your work. I work in journalism and I started looking for intelligent erotica after the release of the ’50 Shades’ garbage. I was disgusted with the books and worse, with the fan reaction. I was dismayed and disappointed until I found your work. After reading your online short fiction, I subscribed to your blog and started purchasing the rest of your work. ‘Beautiful Losers’ is exquisite and heartbreaking. ‘Coming Together’ remains my favorite short story collection. I purchased several other anthologies that include your work and while I enjoy some of the other authors, you remain my favorite. A special thanks for the nonfiction, the essays, etc. on your blog. Thank you for your insight, perspective and honesty.

      Hello Beth,
And thank you for finding me and leaving such a lovely comment.

I too am very distressed by the lack of good writing being published in the erotica genre. I’ve come to wonder whether what I write even fits within what that genre has become anymore. I think the success of FSOG has redefined reader expectations of the genre and those are not the kind of expectations I am willing to meet.
